This is a BULLYING COMPLAINT.
I was traveling along I-44 to my destination. My friend and I were traveling separately, both pulling horse trailers with living quarters, so LARGE horse trailers.
Saw a NICE place to get gas, we both pulled in, and I was watching my mirrors to be sure that my trailer made the corner, I looked forward at the gas pump AFTER I had already made it halfway into the gas lane, only to see a red cone placed in the middle of the lane.
My friend was following closely as we were both getting gas.
I couldn't back up, as my friend was close behind me.
I got out, moved the cone and we both filled up with gas, used the restroom, and bought snacks.
Came out and your repair man had pulled his truck in front of mine to block me from leaving, because I had moved the cone.
I asked him to move the truck and this is when the bullying began. A verbal altercation ensued.
My friend and I were CUSTOMERS! We spent hard earned money there only to be confronted and bullied by someone that wasn’t even employed by TCA. This leaves an extreme bad taste in my mouth toward TCA. Do you allow this treatment of your customers by the people that you hire to do outside work on your building?
I won't allow anyone to bully me and that is what he was doing. I told him that I would call the police and that they would come and make him move his truck. He told me to go ahead and call so I did.
He saw me talking to 911 so he did come down and move his truck but more verbal bullying ensued, he asked me if I was so STUPID that I didn’t know what a cone meant.
Had he placed FOUR cones, 2 at the ENTRANCE (coming both ways) to both lanes this would have never happened. Instead he placed 1 cone in the MIDDLE of the lane. I couldn’t even see it until it was too late.
I would like your cooperation in obtaining the name of the company that the bully worked for as I want to report him.
I would like to mention that the manager on duty offered to BACK our trailers out of the gas lanes. He was trying to be nice, but that is not the point.
Bullying and intimidation practices should NEVER be acceptable.
I would appreciate a response and help getting HIS company contact information. POSTED 09-03-2018
