Parking: Exit 267 has an old 76 truck stop (now the I 55 Auto/Truck stop) north of the Bolingbrook weigh station. Exit 257 has a Clark Truck Stop south of the Joliet truck scale.
Alternate Route Information
Take exit 263 for Weber Road and turn right. Go .1 mile to the first light at Normantown road. Turn left. Go up .4 miles to what looks like a dead end at Crossroads Parkway- it is marked as no right turn for trucks. Don’t turn right- stay straight which will vere you left onto Crossroads Parkway. Crossroads Parkway takes you through a major industrial park with dozens of warehouses and a truck repair shop. You’ll cross Veteran’s Parkway at a light, a Fedex drop box on the right and Schmidt road at a stop sign. You’ll be on crossroads Parkway for 3.4 miles until you come to the light for Illinois route 53- a US Cellular warehouse is on your right shortly before the light. Turn left at the light onto route 53 north and go .7 miles up to the ramp for I 55 north. You’ll pass the I 55 Auto/Truck Stop on your right. - NB

Take exit 263 for route 53. Turn left on route 53 south and go .8 miles to the light at Crossroads Parkway and turn right. Crossroads Parkway takes you through a huge industrial area with dozens of warehouses and distribution centers and a large truck repair shop (on your right toward the end of the alternate routing). You’ll be on Crossroads Parkway for a total of 3.4 miles. You’ll go through the stop sign at Schmidt Road and through the stop light at Veteran’s Parkway (which may be a new freeway exit for I 55). You’ll come to the stop light at Normantown Road- turn right onto Normantown Road (trucks are not allowed to go left onto Normantown Road). You’ll go .4 miles to the 2nd light which is Weber Road- the sign is not visible here, but there is a 7/11 on the left corner, a Burger King on the near right corner and a Gas City on the far right corner. Turn right- if you do miss this turn you can continue straight and either turn around at the Gas City (which has 2 fuel islands) or there is an industrial area further on. After you turn right onto Weber Road you’ll go .3 miles to the ramp for I 55 south bound. - SB
