Parking: There is a TA truck stop at exit 37 on I 40 and a rest area at mile marker 41.5 on I 26 west of the Hendersonville scale. There is a Shell Truck Stop with a Stuckey’s restaurant and a Bojangles at exit 44 west of the weigh station. East of the Asheville scale in South Carolina, there is a rest area at mile marker 2.5 and a Hot Spot truck stop at exit 5.
Alternate Route Information
Take exit 44 on I 26 for business route 25 south to Mountain Home. Turn right off the ramp. You’ll go 6.7 miles past a US Post Office, several car dealers and a high school into the town of Hendersonville. When you get into Hendersonville, the road splits into two one-way roadways and you will continue straight. Don’t turn at the light for route 64 W (west). You’ll go straight to the light marked “to I 26″ which is route 64 E (east). You’re turning off a narrow road onto a two-lane, one-way road, so take care. You’ll go on route 64 east for 1.9 miles back to the ramp for I 26 east. You’ll pass a BiLo grocery store and a CVS pharmacy to your right. - EB

Take exit 49 and go west on route 64 toward the town of Hendersonville. You’ll pass a CVS pharmacy and a BiLo grocery to your left. You’ll go about 2 miles- the road will split into two one-way roads and you’ll continue up to business route 25 north- it will be a right turn onto business 25. You’ll be on business 25 north for about 6.5 miles and it will take you to the ramp for I 26 west. You’ll pass several car dealers and a small US Post Office. Right before you get back to I 26, you’ll pass a Shell Truck Stop with a Stuckey’s restaurant and a Bojangles to your left. - WB
