Parking: On the west side of the town of Burns there are two truck stops- The Truck Stop and Eddie’s Truck and Auto Center. Closer in to town there is a Shell truck stop with Pacific Pride pumps and a CFN.
Alternate Route Information
East/North bound: In the town of Burns, you’ll come to the light a Broadway. It is marked left to follow route 20/route 395 and straight to follow route 78. Go straight there. You’ll go out of town and be on route 78 for 1.8 miles. You’ll turn left onto Fry Road. The only way you’ll know you’re at Fry Road is that there is a sign on the left for the Malheur National Wildlife Refuge and a sign for route 205 to turn right. There is also a possible weigh station pull off on the north west corner of the intersection- it is not marked as a weigh station but has a pad for portables. Turn left onto Fry Road. You’ll be on Fry Road for 2 miles. Fry Road puts you out on route 20 directly across from the route 395 north turnoff. You are .5 miles east of the Burns truck scale. Turn right for route 20 east or go straight for route 395 north.
West/South Bound: Directly across from the junction of 395 and route 20 is Fry Road. Trucks headed west on route 20, turn left onto Fry Road. Trucks headed south on route 395, stay straight onto Fry road (rather than turning left or right onto route 20). You’ll be on Fry road for 2 miles. You’ll come to the stop sign at route 78. Turn right- there is a possible weigh station on the north west corner of the intersection. It is not marked as a weigh station but it has a pad for portables. Turn right onto route 78 west. You’ll go 1.8 miles into town to the light at Broadway. Route 395 north and route 20 east turns to the right. You will go straight, following route 20 west and route 395 south.
