Parking: There is an Exxon at exit 723 with a small lot west of the Houston west truck scales. There are several truck stops at exit 732 including a Flying J Truck Stop east of the Sealy weigh station.

Take exit 723 for route 1458. You’ll exit the freeway and follow alongside the freeway on the frontage road until you come to the stop sign at FM 1458. You’ll be across from Riverside Tire Center. Turn left onto route 1458. You’ll be on 1458 for 10 miles. Shortly after you start down FM 1458, you’ll cross a 58,420 lb gross weigh limit bridge over the Brazos River. The road beyond the Brazos River bridge is also marked as 58,420 lbs gross weight limit. After 10 miles on FM 1458, you’ll come to a flashing yellow light at the junction of route 359 north. Don’t turn onto route 359 north. Stay straight- you’ll be on route 359 south. You will follow route 359 south all the way back to I 10. After you cross through the flashing yellow light you’ll go 3.7 miles (passing the route 362 turnoff to the left) to the light at route 90. Route 90 is just south of a rail road crossing that has a fairly steep hill to it. Low trailers may scrape, but this is a major state route. Route 359 turns left at route 90 following route 90 east. You’ll be junctioned with route 90 for .4 miles, passing Cooper Street, until you come to the light at Waller. Route 359 turns right on Waller. You’ll be about .5 miles away from the ramp for I 10 east on the far side of the freeway. There is a Flying J truck stop on the right before you get to I 10. When you get onto I 10 you are at exit 732.
