If you take the exit for the casino instead of going left, Take a right till you come to a stop sight and you will be on HWY 11. the whole road is a truck route. make a left on hwy 11 you'll end up past the scale downside your driving past the State Patrol building.. unless you turn left on to cook road. I was behind a dump truck at about 2:40p that I thought was empty getting on the on ramp to I-5 southbound and quickly realized that when pebbles started pelting my car at near freeway speed that it had a load that was not covered. I hit the brakes, but the damage had already been done. I haven't inspected the rest of my car, yet, but the front window has a chip.
I tried to read the license plate, but it was too dirty to read. Unfortunately, I didn't have time to follow him off at Weigh Station 33 because I was on my way to pick up my daughter. Might you have the contact information of the driver and/or company that owned that dump truck? Posted 04-17-2018
